Just a few updates & notes from the track at Hattiesburg Speedway on May 22,2015:

Joseph Joiner rolled in late but his arrival allowed the other competitors & himself to gain max points from the series which requires at least 8 cars for a full field @hattiesburgspeedway.net

First time ever in a crate late model competition Chase Cooper rolled into Hattiesburg Speedway as an unknown but quickly showed why he belonged at one of the toughest tracks in the region. The first timer held on for a 2nd place finish in his feature behind current NeSMITH Crate Late Model Points leader Michael Arnold @hattiesburgspeedway.net

Keep your eyes on this hot shot in the sharp #purestreet #117 Ryan Slade. Another hot shoe with just 3 races under his sleeve Ryan is improving every weekend & is not far from challenging Patrick Hankins for top Rookie in this division. Hankins has raced on the heels of the veterans of the class that happen to also hold the top two points getters in the class.

Newly wed & former track champion #26 Stephanie Necaise-Cooper battling young gun #70 Hunter Pierce in the #purestreet heat @hattiesburgspeedway.net

#76 Allen Blaine Gray battling K9 Robert Casada for the lead in the Modified class. Allen eventually picked up his first ever feature win & his Dad Howard Gray finished 2nd @hattiesburgspeedway.net

Rusty Cooper sat on the pole but had problems early & K9 Robert Casada also had a tough night #modified @hattiesburgspeedway.net
